Low-volume sequencers are available in 20cm or 33cm (77/8 or 13") widths and in single and dual gel formats. With the low-profile design to maintain buffer flow through the gel, as little as 250mL of buffer per reservoir is required for the 20cm (77/8") wide unit. The Flip-Lid safety covers cannot be misplaced and allow easy access to the reservoirs. The aluminum heat dispersion plates are anodized for electrical isolation and coated with white epoxy for easy visualization of tracking dyes. Aluminum plates are spring-mounted to reduce clamping stress on glass plates. A clear acrylic bar clamp (included) ensures even compression of the glass plate sandwich to the upper reservoir gasket.

Each dual gel sequencing kit includes a low-volume sequencer with rotating base, 2 glass plate sets, 2 spacer sets, 2 sharktooth combs, 1 roll gel sealing tape, and white spring clamps.
